I have a question that gldn51 asked in the Regular 8 topic thing, but no one seemed to answer.
So gldn51 and I were wondering. Can you use 16mm film for a Regular 8 camera? As in, does it fit in the camera and function like Double 8? Thanks
Jeff

There won't be enough sprocket holes to use 16mm film in a regular 8mm camera. However, you should be able to use regular 8mm film in a 16mm camera.

this is one of the great uses of reg8mm film. shoot one 1 side, then shoot the other side with the camera "upside down"...when you have it processed, do not have it slit. project it on a 16mm projector. viola! 4 perfect frames in one 16mm frame. poormans mat shot.
